Tory frontbencher denies government 'covered up' grooming gangs scandal
Speaking on Sunday Morning With Trevor Phillips, Tory frontbencher Chris Philp denied that the British government 'covered up' grooming gangs scandals. He said he believes "there were individual local authorities who did", but said they were in Labour controlled areas. His comments come after shadow justice secretary Robert Jenrick claimed that: "For decades the most appalling crimes from predominantly British-Pakistani men were legalised and actively covered up to prevent disorder."
