‘Tough day’: Rex enters voluntary administration

Deputy Opposition Leader Sussan Ley says it has been a “tough day” after Rex entered voluntary administration. Regional carrier Rex Airlines has entered voluntary administration. Rex has cancelled all capital city flights, but regional services are continuing to operate. “It’s a tough day, it’s a tough period, but please remember it’s only the city-to-city Rex flights that have been under threat at this stage and, in fact, have ceased,” Ms Ley told Sky News Australia.
