Tourism spurs employment - A catalyst for socio-economic growth

Students from Makerere University’s Department of Tourism and Hotel Management, alongside peers from other universities, were encouraged to actively promote Uganda's tourism sector. The sector was highlighted as a promising opportunity for youth entrepreneurship, with the guest of honor, State Minister for Tourism and Antiques, Hon. Martin Mugarra, stressing its potential.
