Tourists arriving at South Korea’s Incheon airport on Wednesday (December 4) said they weren’t worried after South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol declared a short-lived state of martial law on Tuesday (December 3). Sevara, a tourist from Dubai, said she was a “little bit worried” before she boarded her flight for her first visit to South Korea, but her fears had since dissipated. Yoon declared martial law on Tuesday evening, only to lift it hours later after parliament voted against it and declared it invalid. The move triggered a political crisis in Asia's fourth-largest economy, which is also a major tourist hub.
