Tours will be pivotal for Windies "A" Team

Director of Cricket at C.W.I., Miles Bascombe, says selection to the West Indies "A" Team tours will be a pivotal piece of the pathway into the senior teams. While admitting that the "A" Team Cricket tours have been sporadic, the hope is to create more opportunities for players to advance their careers including at the academy level. Bascombe was speaking to CBC Sports in an exclusive interview. From a player standpoint, Bascombe says the Caribbean is full of talent, but technically batters and bowlers can improve.
