Train derails after striking semi stuck on tracks

A train was derailed after colliding with a semi-trailer stuck on the tracks in Aledo, Texas on December 17. According to local news reports, the truck became stuck while crossing the train tracks and was struck by a Union Pacific train. The Texas Department of Public Safety said two train engines and 17 train cars were derailed. The train conductor suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.
