More and more teenage girls are considering changing their gender worldwide. In Quebec, the healthcare system quickly responds to their requests for medical transition by prescribing blockers and testosterone, and authorizing mastectomies. A lot of these teenage girls also live with multiple mental health issues, and many people (parents, for example) wonder if enough time is being taken to evaluate them properly. Is it normal for a 14-year-old to receive a prescription for testosterone in just a few minutes? And what happens when they change their minds?
