Transgender retired B.C. Lions player and teammates added to Wall of Fame

Maven Maurer is believed to be the only openly transgender former professional football player in CFL history, according to the league. Maurer stepped onto the field at B.C. Place in September to be inducted into the B.C. Lions Wall of Fame along with her teammates from a Lions squad that won the 2000 Grey Cup.
