‘Trash’: Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony slammed for ‘mocking God’

Sky News contributor Evelyn Rae has blasted the Paris Olympic Games as criticism continues to grow after the opening ceremony made a mockery of the Last Supper with a recreation that featured performers in drag. The 2024 Olympics opening ceremony is being slammed with some planning to boycott the games in protest following a part of the ceremony which showed what appeared to be a nod to Leonardo da Vinci's painting 'The Last Supper'. “I am a Christian, and this did offend me it also offended a lot of people who just want to watch the Olympics because it unites people around the world on a common interest of the enjoyment of sport,” Ms Rae said. “They were 100 per cent mocking god and even if they weren’t what they did was absolute trash.”
