TRIBUTES FLOW AS NATION BIDS FINAL FAREWELL TO MP ASOT MICHAEL

The nation paid its final respects on Thursday to long-serving St Peter Member of Parliament, Hon. Asot Michael. MP Michael was laid to rest following an official funeral at the Holy Family Cathedral. He was murdered at his home on November 5, the first time in the country and the region's history that a lawmaker was meeting such an untimely demise. As is the norm for official funerals, the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda coordinated the ceremony. Patrice Martin reports.
