Tributes flow in for man killed in Queensland shark attack

Locals near Humpy Island in North Queensland are calling for shark culling after 40-year-old Luke Walford was fatally attacked while spearfishing in the area. Tributes are pouring in for Mr Walford who was a beloved pastor for his church. “Over the last 10 to 13 years, I’ve witnessed his incredible contributions as part of our church staff. He was a beloved figure, especially among our young people, children and the congregation,” Cathedral of Praise Rockhampton said in a statement.
