Tropical Storm Sara remnants to bring rain to Florida
FOX 13 Meteorologist Jim Weber is keeping an eye on Tropical Storm Sara that is expected to drop 15-20 inches of rain on Honduras. He says once it crosses the Yucatan peninsula it will dissipate. However, the moisture will carry into the Gulf of Mexico. Weber says the moisture will be absorbed by a cold front that is working its way south, which will bring rain to the Bay Area on Wednesday. Once the front sweeps through, Weber expects us to dry out. He adds that he doesn’t see anything else developing in the tropics, but hurricane season does run through Nov. 30.
