Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will deliver remarks in Richmond Hill, Ont., on Tuesday to mark the fifth anniversary of the downing of Ukraine International Airlines Flight PS752 by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The tragedy claimed the lives of 176 innocent passengers, crew and an unborn child. The U.K. High Commissioner for Canada, Ralph Goodale, will also be in attendance. The event follows on the heels of a national Liberal caucus meeting in Ottawa — the first since Trudeau announced on Monday that he will step down as Liberal leader. The focus was on the next steps for the party, as it begins a national search for a leader who can hold their own against popular Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre.
