Trump indicted again in 2020 election subversion case

With less than two weeks to go before the next presidential debate, Republican nominee Donald Trump is facing new charges related to the last election. The charging document was released right ahead of never-seen-before footage from the Jan. 6, 2021 attack. This revised federal indictment from Special Counsel Jack Smith comes one month after the Supreme Court ruled presidents have brought immunity for official acts. Though Trump faces the same four charges, including conspiracy to defraud the United States, prosecutors cut back on the evidence included in the indictment. Global’s Bianca Facchinei reports.
