TT Out Hockey5s World Cup

The Senior Men's Hockey5 team are out of the medal hunt at the World Cup currently underway in Oman. Coming up against Malaysia in the Quarter Finals today, the TT stickmen fought valiantly but came up short, going down by 5-4. T&T jumped out to a 3-2 lead at the half time interval with goals in the 6th minute from Akim Tousaint , Mickell Pierre in the 10th and Tariq Marcano in the 14th. However, the Malaysians turned the table in the second half out scoring team TTO by 3-1 to win by a final of 5-4. Teague Macano got our lone item in the 30th minute. Later in the day, playing Egypt in the position for places, the National team went under by 8-5. Teague Marcano led the way with double in the 11th and 27th minutes while there were goals for Akim Tousaint in the 6th, Tarell Singh in the 21st, and Tariq Marcano in the 27th minutes for the national team.
