TV drama Zero Day hopes to spark conversations about Taiwan's security, vulnerabilities

A potential conflict in the Taiwan Strait has become a hotly discussed topic in recent years. Taiwan has produced a TV series envisioning Chinese invasion of the island. Zero Day, which has 10 episodes, cost some US$7 million to make. It was primarily funded by the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) government and Taiwanese businessman Robert Tsao, who is known for his strong anti-China stance. While the drama is fictional, analysts said the battle in the cognitive sphere is real. Victoria Jen reports.
