TV hosts react to medical report claiming boxer Imane Khelif is a biological man

Sky News host Caleb Bond, Liz Storer and James Macpherson have reacted to the latest news over Algerian boxer Imane Khelif as a ‘leaked’ report claims the athlete is a biological man. It follows after a major gender row arose during the 2024 Paris Olympics when Khelif and Taiwan boxer Lin Yu-ting were at the centre of controversy after they were given the green light from the International Olympic Committee to compete in female boxing despite failing a gender eligibility test at the 2023 world championships. “The IOC ought to apply, to every other woman who competed in the female boxing, we got it wrong but we're not gonna hear that from them, are we?” Mr Bond said.
