Two killed in Israeli drone attack on motorcycle in southern Lebanon
The Israeli army has killed two people in south Lebanon’s Joya, when one of its drones attacked a motorcycle, Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency reports, citing the country’s Ministry of Public Health. Six people were wounded in the attack, the agency added. Typically, single attacks on motor vehicles in south Lebanon are targeted at field-level military leadership of Lebanon’s Hezbollah, but the group has yet to announce the death of any of its fighters today. A social media post from Lebanon’s Civil Defence shows the transport of casualties that resulted from this attack for medical treatment. Al Jazeera’s Assed Baig reports from Marjayoun in southern Lebanon.
