Parts of northern Vietnam are picking up the pieces, after Super Typhoon Yagi ripped through the region over the weekend. The death toll has jumped to 59, with nearly 300 others injured and another 24 still missing. Yagi is the strongest typhoon to hit Vietnam in three decades, bringing about torrential rains and strong winds that toppled trees and damaged buildings. The storm also caused widespread power outages, affecting millions of households and businesses. Yagi has since weakened in force but flash floods and landslides remain a threat. Tung Ngo reports from Hanoi.
