U.S. vetoes UNSC draft resolution for humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza

The U.S. on February 20 vetoed a UN Security Council draft resolution that would have demanded an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza. The draft received 13 supporting votes of the council's 15 members, with Britain abstaining.
