Uasin Gishu deputy governor Barorot resigns to take up International job

Uasin Gishu deputy governor engineer John Barorot has officially announced his resignation today following weeks of speculation that the second in command was on his way out of governor Jonathan Bii’s administration. Barorot who announced his resignation in the presence of Governor Bii and other county officials at the county headquarters say he arrived at the decision after securing employment with a multinational ICT company. However, sources within the Uasin Gishu county government intimate that the DG’s resignation has been long coming after allegations of his fall-out with Governor Bii’s handlers.
