UBOS TO UNDERAKE THE DISABILITY FUNCTIONAL DIFFICULTIES SURVEY

Uganda bureau of statistics is set to undertake a disability functional survey to harmonize the 2024 census results for persons with disabilities. This was revealed by Hellen Asamo, the minister of state for persons with disabilities at a media briefing in Kampala ahead of next week’s International Day of Persons with disabilities. The disability functional difficulties survey is intended to identify numbers of the 8 disability categories, the initiative is aimed at promoting inclusivity of persons with disabilities.
