UCI gets state of art machines for mild effects -The institute needs to recruit more oncologists

Uganda Cancer Institute has received latest advanced machine for Cancer Treatment in the region that will handle mild side effects. The state–of-art Linear accelerator machine has treated more than 680 patients since last year. With Support from Roche, it has optimized work flow and capacity for East African Centre of excellence in oncology and has set up a National Reference Laboratory.
