UFZA new board swears-in, Members urged to priotize good governance and accountability

Government, through the ministry of trade, industry and cooperatives, is committed to support Uganda Free Zone Authority to realize the shared vision of the tenfold growth strategy of expanding the economy from the base line of GDP USD 50 billion in the Yr. 2022/2023, to USD 500 billion in the next 15 years. This was revealed by the Minister of Trade, Industry and cooperatives, Francis Mwebesa, during the swearing-in of the new board members of Uganda free zone authority, at the ministry of trade in Kampala. The Minister urged the new board to prioritize good governance and accountability.
