Uganda Clays Managing Director Ruben Twebaze has assured shareholders that the company’s revenues will improve significantly in the medium to long term as the company’s newly acquired equipment starts rapid production. This assurance comes despite the fact that the company will not declare dividends this year. During the release of the company’s financial results, the board announced a net loss of 2.8 billion shillings for the year 2023 due to a fall in revenues and marginal cost adjustments. Profit dropped from Ugx 14.8 billion to 8.7 billion shillings.
