Uganda has 1.5 million people living with HIV/AIDS

As Uganda prepares to commemorate World AIDS Day on December 1st, HIV/AIDS victims in the Busoga Sub-region have expressed their frustrations over ongoing discrimination and marginalization by both the government and other organizations. They allege that they are denied job opportunities and excluded from economic development programs due to the stigma surrounding their condition, with many fearing they may die at any time.
