UGANDA LAW SOCIETY FAULTS MINISTER MAO FOR INTERFERING WITH JUDICIARY INDEPENDENCE

The Uganda Law Society want the independence of the Judiciary to be respected and observed as it's stipulated under article 128 (1) of the constitutional. This follows a letter from the Minister for Justice and constitutional affairs Norbert Mao to the principal Judge asking him to examine and call the ruling made by the deputy registrar of Mbarara high court in Francis Ishanga and Kellen Karemera land dispute case.
