Uganda Muslim Council General Assembly - Announces leadership changes

Uganda Muslim Council General Assembly members, supporting former Deputy Mufti Sheikh Abdallah Ssemambo, plan to engage President Museveni to prevent trivialization and politicization of religious matters. This was disclosed by Dr Irumba Muhammad while announcing significant changes in the leadership structure following resolutions passed during the General Assembly held on December 15–17, 2023.
