UGANDA NETBALL PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION: BRIG BYEKWASO WITHDRAWS FROM RACE.

Brigadier Flavia Byekwaso has  withdrawn from Netball Uganda Presidential Race, citing concerns over transparency and governance. This decision, she said, was difficult but necessary due to concerns over what she called bias, procedural impropriety, and glaring irregularities  in the election process. Byekwaso outlined five key reasons behind her decision. highlighting  management and accountability issues  that date back to April 2023, when the Ministry of Education instructed the National Council of Sports  to withdraw the federation Certificate of Recognition of its leadership did not adhere to restructuring guidelines. Consequently, the NCS revoked the certificate, though it did not formally dissolve the federation
