Uganda restores livelihoods for Tilenga oil project affected persons
The Petroleum Authority of Uganda has introduced livelihood restoration projects for thousands of people affected by the Tilenga Oil Project in Buliisa and Nwoya Districts. About 5,000 Project Affected Persons were displaced to make way for the Tilenga project infrastructure, including the Tilenga Industrial Area, oil well pads, oil flow lines, the feeder line, and access roads. The farmers have been organized into groups and supported with agricultural inputs, and they also have demonstration farms where they are taught good farming practices. #NTVNews #NTVTonight #NTVWeekendEdition Subscribe to Our Channel For more news visit http://www.ntv.co.ug Follow us on Twitter http://www.twitter.com/ntvuganda Connect with us on Messenger via m.me/NTVUganda
