UGANDA TO CONTINUE DEVELOPING MINI AND MICRO-GRID STATIONS POWERED BY RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES.

Uganda is set continue developing mini and micro-grid stations powered by renewable energy sources as a viable solution for rural electrification. This move comes even as the country invests heavily in Hydro-electric power stations such as the 600MW Karuma hydroelectric power station that’s soon to be commissioned.
