Uganda to emerge as a healthcare leader with the launch of local liver transplants.

Uganda is on the verge of a significant milestone in its healthcare sector, with plans to start liver transplant procedures next year. The announcement was made by Dr. Olaro Charles, Director of Curative Services at the Ministry of Health, during the 5TH Symposium of Uganda Gastrointestinal and Endoscopical Surgeons.
