Uganda has been selected to host the Eleventh Session of the African Regional Forum on Sustainable Development in April 2025. Following this development, the Deputy Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, Antonio Pedro, is in Uganda to begin preparations and assess the country’s readiness to host the continental event.
