As a prelude to the Comrade International Day, the Uganda Walkers Association collaborated with the Ministry of Water and Environment for a 62 km walk from Kamdini town council in Oyam district to Gulu City. This initiative aims to raise awareness about the preservation and protection of wetlands, coinciding with the global celebration of World Wetland Day in Gulu City for the first time.
