UK could send illegal immigrants to Albania for processing

Writer and broadcaster Esther Krakue discusses UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer considering a similar plan to Italy’s migration deal of sending illegal migrants to Albania for processing. The previous Tory government’s original plan was to process illegal immigrants to Rwanda. “The penny has finally dropped. I mean, I think his argument is that this is a Europe-wide initiative, so somehow that makes it more moral,” Ms Krakue told Sky News host Andrew Bolt. “Even though the principle of actually sending people to a third country for processing still stands.”
