UK election a ‘disappointment’ for Conservative Party: John Howard

Former Prime Minister John Howard says the recent UK election is “obviously a disappointment” for the Conservative Party. “You’ve got to guard against overanalysing election results,” Mr Howard told Sky News Australia. “There’s a pattern after a party has been in power for more than a decade, it becomes increasingly hard to get re-elected and that’s the main reason I think people wanted a change,” Mr Howard told Sky News Australia.
