UK has 'problem' with construction workforce, housing minister says

Housing minister Matthew Pennycook discusses prime minister Keir Starmer's targets for the Labour government - with 150 major projects to be green-lit within five years. In order to tackle the housing crisis, Mr Pennycook says the UK needs to invest in training and apprenticeships. He added: "Some overseas workers will be required. "The previous government added construction to the shortage occupation list. "It's made a bit of a difference, but not enough."
