UK prime minister in Washington DC: Leaders mull Kyiv’s plea to use long-range missiles

Former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev says Russia could destroy Kyiv and reduce it to quote 'a giant melted spot' in response to any use of long-range western weapons by Ukraine. His comments come as the leaders of the UK and U.S. met in Washington to discuss Ukraine's request to use its weapons to target deeper into Russia.
