Ukraine's President wants permission to use long-range weapons against Russia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has pressed Western leaders to loosen weapons use restrictions to allow Kyiv to conduct strikes deeper into Russian territory. He made the plea in person at a meeting of defence leaders in Germany. Mr Zelenskyy was unable to convince US leaders despite making inroads with several defence leaders. US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin believes using American-made long-range weapons would not significantly change the war.
