Ukraine strikes Russia's Bryansk region: Kyiv deploys US-made missiles in 'major escalatio

Ukraine has fired on Russian territory using American-made long-range missiles. It's the first attack of its kind since Washington gave the green light for Ukraine to use the weapons on Russian territory. The Kremlin denounced the attacks as an escalation. The strike on the Bryansk region came just hours before President Vladimir Putin announced a shift in the country's nuclear doctrine, lowering the threshold for a nuclear strike.
