ULGA questions rationale for district commission mergers

Local governments under their umbrella body Uganda Local Government Associations have questioned the Ministry’s intentions of merging the district service commissions with the public service commission. The call came after the government moved to have the district service commissions merged to avoid corruption. District chairpersons are of the view that the move will hurt service delivery in the districts.
