UMSC AT 50 ANNIVERSARY: MUFTI OF UGANDA SHEIKH MUBAJJE EMPHASIZED THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE CONFERENCE

The Mufti of Uganda, Sheikh Ramadan Shaban Mubajje, has said that there is need to contribute to the stability of Islam both in Uganda and beyond. He was speaking during the International Conference on Contemporary Issues in Islamic Jurisprudence at the Uganda Muslim Supreme Council (UMSC) headquarters in Old Kampala. The conference is hosting Islamic leaders and scholars from over 20 countries as part of UMSC's 50th anniversary celebrations. The conference addresses how Islamic practices can adapt to the challenges of contemporary society, with discussions grounded in fatwas or Islamic legal decrees).
