UMSC court case - UMSC court ruling affirms leadership of Sheikh Mubajje

The High Court in Kampala has delivered a verdict in the case involving the Mufti of Uganda, Sheikh Shaban Ramadan Mubajje, ruling that no charges have been brought against him. The court also affirmed that Mubajje remains the legitimate leader of Uganda's Muslim community. Al-Hajji Ssekyanzi Abbas Muluubya, the Secretary-General of the Uganda Muslim Supreme Council (UMSC), welcomed the court’s decision, emphasizing that it reinforces the importance of upholding the rule of law within the Muslim community.
