UNBS grappling with gross underfunding - Standards body seeks budget increase

Uganda National Bureau of Standards- UNBS is grappling with gross underfunding by the Government, a challenge that severely limits its ability to achieve its targets and fully execute its mandate. In an interaction with the Parliamentary committee on trade, Executive Director of the standards body, James Kasigwa, appealed for the legislators’ support to address the challenges hindering the organization.
