UNDP committed to support Uganda's tourism sector
The UNDP representative to Uganda Attafuah is Calling upon all sector players for a collective effort in aggressively marketing and branding Uganda's tourism. During her visit to Murchison falls national park, Ms. Elsie Attafuah was impressed by the mighty Murchison Falls also known as Kabalega falls and urged the private sectors to continue investing in tourism facilities as the government improves the infrastructure to improve accessibility of tourist attractions spread across the country. Accompanied by the Executive Director Lilly Ajarova, Atafuah expressed total commitment to support Uganda’s tourism. According the tourism performance report of last financial year of 2022-2023, indicates Uganda's tourism recovering from the effects of covid 19 above 50% attributed to good infrastructure and favorable, product development and availability of the recovery funds.
