UNDP supports Nile Basin conservation efforts
The United Nations Development Program has delivered a new vehicle to bolster conservation efforts in the Nile River Basin, reaffirming its commitment to safeguarding this vital ecosystem. Ms. Nwanneallolam Vwande-Obahor, the UNDP Resident Representative for Uganda, presented the vehicle at the Basin Secretariat in Entebbe. In addition to this contribution, UNDP has urged other development partners to lend their support to the Secretariat in mitigating water boundary catchment challenges, crucial in addressing climate change-related issues. This visit by UNDP also commemorated 57 years of the organization's steadfast support for the Nile Basin Initiative's endeavors to preserve the river basin and its member states. #NTVNews #NTVTonight #NTVWeekendEdition Subscribe to Our Channel For more news visit http://www.ntv.co.ug Follow us on Twitter http://www.twitter.com/ntvuganda Connect with us on Messenger via m.me/NTVUganda
