UNESCO recognises traditional Nablus soap-making as Intangible Cultural Heritage
UNESCO has added the centuries-old tradition of Nabulsi soap-making to its Intangible Cultural Heritage list. The craft originated in the Palestinian city of Nablus in the occupied West Bank and has been passed down through families ever since. Al Jazeera’s Lina Abu Akleh reports.
