UNICEF hosts Social and Behaviour Change Communication Training
The Ministry of Health, Wellness and Elderly Affairs and key stakeholders receive capacity building support from UNICEF to help enhance skills in the area of developing and leading Social and Behavior Change (SBC) activities and programmes. The two-day Social and Behaviour Change Communication Training was aimed at developing the skills and knowledge of participants on applying social and behavior change communication approaches when responding to public health and other emergencies. The training also focused on strengthening the capacity of participants to help them design and implement interventions aimed at behavior change. Health Educators, Public Health Nursing Supervisors, Nutritionist, Social Transformation Officers and Representatives from town and city councils, to name a few benefitted from the Social and Behaviour Change Communication training.
