Unions warn Qld LNP leader he must deliver pay rises of face strike action if elected

Queensland’s Liberal National Leader David Crisafulli is being warned he must deliver pay rises for workers if he becomes premier or expect strike action. Unions are seeking $1 billion worth of salary increases for the state’s nurses, teachers and police. The pay rises are not budgeted, and the state’s public service wage bill has grown by more than 75 per cent in less than a decade.
