United States ‘at war’ with Yemen’s Houthi rebels amid Trump administration’s attacks

Curtin University Professor of Global Futures Joe Siracusa claims the United States is “at war” with the Houthis from Yemen following the Trump administration’s recent attacks. The Trump administration launched a series of airstrikes on Yemen targeting the Houthis over the weekend, a few days after the militant group said they would again start up attacks on ships in the Red Sea. “The United States is at war with Yemen, with the Houthis, and regards it as a rogue nation ... who have attacked American interests in the area,” Professor Siracusa told Sky News Australia.
